I’m stunned and delighted to be one of 400 shortlisted entries in this years Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year Awards. Almost exactly two years since I started on this adventure of food photography and documenting my journey here, I couldn’t wish for a greater way to celebrate the anniversary. There have been many obstacles in my way in the last 18 months but I’m really hoping I can now concentrate on making 2015 the year I make the leap into full time freelance assisting.
There are so many amazing entries and I didn’t think for a second any of mine would stand a chance against the professionals. You can view the shortlist here. I am in the Food for Sale category with my image taken in Cuba at the end of a night at Casa de la Musica, Trinidad and far too many mojitos to count! If you would like to vote for my image for the Peoples Choice award that would be great.
